The Jenišov recreational area is located on the shore of Lake Lipno, 3 km from the town of Horní Planá. In the vicinity there are several restaurants and a wide range of facilities for sports and leisure activities. The beach, 400 m from the house, offers ideal conditions for swimming and water sports, while the adjacent lake shore offers countless opportunities for sport fishing.

Jenišov has excellent transport connections with the near and distant surroundings, and is therefore an ideal starting point for trips. The Lipno backbone cycle path passes through the area with a connection to the ferry in Horní Planá, which in the summer provides a direct transport connection to the right bank of Lake Lipno and the border ridge of Šumava with countless opportunities for both walking and cycling. The train stop, from which there is a convenient connection not only to Český Krumlov and České Budějovice, but also to the very heart of South Bohemian Šumava to Černý Kříž and further to Nové Údolí, Lenora or Kubova Huta, is a 10-minute walk away. The drive to Horní Planá, where there are complete civic amenities, takes no more than 5 minutes, you can reach Český Krumlov in less than half an hour and in winter it takes less than an hour to get to the largest Upper Austrian ski resort outside the Alps, the Hochficht resort.
